You Can Do Anything. You’re A SuperHero. -Chenaé Moore
What’s up FLY Zone,
I am excited to be finally releasing one of the first interviews I did for show. This one is with the lovely Chenaé Moore, a young actress with a great personality, and an even bigger heart. Chenaé and I actually met in person at a party about a week before we did the episode, and I couldn’t wait to have her on, as we were too people that grew up in the same community and never met each other, and we still would not have, if I would have decided not to go to the party we were at.
Her willingness to be transparent and authentic was great because I believe that she added great value to The Fulfilling Life’s Yearnings community, as she is FLY Millennial that is being her best by rewriting the script of her life and taking deliberate and consistent steps to contribute her body of work to the world around her. I envision her doing valuable things in her life as she continues to grow.
It is my vision that hearing Chenaé will give you a fresh perspective on the direction you are going in, and will possibly reinforce or lead you to change things in your life. As a member of The Fulfilling Life’s Yearnings Community, I expect you to be an active participant. One that is willing to use the podcast as a resource to transform in the ways that you aspire to.
As always, this is the FLY Host you love the most, and the ball is in your hands.
Go out there today and Be FLY.
Today’s Guest: Chenaé Moore
Bio: At the age of 4, Chenaé and her family moved to the suburbs of West Bloomfield where they were the first African American family to move into the neighborhood. As one of the only black people in her elementary school up until 5th grade, she stood out both as a minority and for her uniquely quirky personality.
Throughout the years she took up basketball in 4th grade and Spanish in 8th grade. As a freshman at Western Michigan University, she continued on with Spanish and double majored in Biomedical Science.
After the split of her parents, Chenaé’s father went missing and ended up homeless. She was lost and unsure why she was taking science classes for which she had no passion for. Unhappy and almost flunking out of school she decided to move back home to live with her mom and attend a community college to save money.
She enrolled at Oakland Community College and started to get all A’s, but despite this there was still something missing. She just wasn’t happy.
Chenaé always took pleasure in doing impersonations, while making a fool of herself in front of large groups of friends and strangers too. This is what made her feel pure bliss; hearing the laughter of others with all eyes on her.
She finally decided it was time to explore what made her happy, and stop living her life to meet other’s expectations. In 2013 she took her first acting class and never felt more at home, it was like she finally found her calling in life.
After an open heart surgery in 2014, Chenaé’s dad was back on his feet and back in her life. She continued to take acting classes at OCC and graduated in May of 2015.
Her accomplishments include two independent films: “My Sister Ryan” and “Love is not Enough”. The film “Love is not Enough” comes to local Michigan theaters this November. In April, 2015, Chenaé performed in two acts for ‘The Fourth Annual Playwright’s Festival’ presented by the Orchard Ridge Theatre Program.
Chenaé is moving to California this October, where she will further pursue her dreams in becoming an actor. With a gradually growing résumé, she will continue to work on her craft and to develop as an individual and an actor.
Chenaé is somewhere in between hard work and success. Come join her on her journey and enjoy the ride!

- What provokes her to keep moving forward ever
- What she does to stay positive and an example of it

- Her message to the listeners
On the podcast, Chenaé shared a few resources:
Movie: The Secret. This is a 2006 film produced by Prime Time Productions consisting of a series of interviews designed to demonstrate everything one wants or needs can be satisfied by believing in an outcome, repeatedly thinking about it, and maintaining positive emotional states to “attract” the desired outcome. You can check it out here.
Object: Gratitude Rock. A gratitude rock is just a small rock that you can carry in your pockets and that you use to remember and take the time to be grateful. This is talked about in The Secret as well. Here’s an article by Christina Diaz that you can read about Gratitude Rock’s as well.
If you would love to reach out Chenaé to wish her luck with her acting career and to share your gratitude with her for being on the show, or if you have questions for about how to get involved in acting or just want to reach out to her to connect, you can find her on:
You can even ask her about her up-coming movie role and where that’s going to be available at.
