Fulfilling Life’s Yearnings Is Sharing Those Moments with Friends That Care About You and That You Care For. – Eric Yang
What’s up FLY Zone,
Today’s guest comes from one of my most favorite cities in the world! That of course would be Paris, and I am favorably biased towards The City of Lights because I had the amazing opportunity of being able to study abroad over there during the fall semester of my senior year of college, back in 2012, and it was a phenomenal experience!
With that said, I should say that while Eric, my guest today, is from Paris, that is not where he lives anymore. He now lives in California, like a majority of the guest that I have had on my show recently, and of course he had to rub it in about how nice it is there, while I am here in Michigan :). But enough about the weather. Let’s talk about why Eric is on the show today.
A few weeks back, Zephan Moses Blaxberg (you can check that episode out here), another FLY Zone alumni (former guest on the show), posted on Facebook that he had the pleasure of talking with this dude named Eric Yang, who had reached out to Zephan to connect with him, and how cool it was of him to do that.
Being that I am all about connecting with people with cool stories to share, I messaged Eric on Facebook saying that I saw that Zephan posted on Facebook about him and what he wants to do, and how awesome his idea was (is), and asked him if he was interested in coming on to share his story.
He got back with me about a week later, and then went from there to set up the day and time we were going to chat on Skype. Eight days later, on January 29, 2016, we had the show, and it was a great time.
I say that often, and I do because it’s true. It’s like calling an orange an orange. There’s nothing else to call it, other than what it is.
Eric was self-deprecating on the show and I really appreciated that about him because I want the real, and he brought it. He didn’t sugar-coat anything the lows that he went through and was even revealing in the fact that even now, with the projects he is working on, that he has no F**king IDEA What HE Is Doing. I feel that most people don’t. We just move in directions (north or south) and figure out things along the way. Those moving in a north direction are probably more intentional about what it is that they are doing in life, and that would be evident by the book, The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson.
But enough of that, let’s get to what you’ll discover from today’s episode!!
